Overview
Blumira integrates with JumpCloud to ingest event logs for threat detection and actionable response. Once configured, users can monitor for activity like new Global Administrator role assignments and impossible travel events, or build reports to view user authentication logs, administrator changes, and other data to help troubleshoot JumpCloud issues when they occur.
Before you begin
Before you can configure your Blumira Cloud Connector, you must gather your JumpCloud API Key by doing the following:
- Log in to JumpCloud Admin Portal as an Administrator or Command Runner.
- Click your account initials in the top-right of the screen.
- In the drop-down menu that appears, click My API Key.
- If you have not generated an API key yet, click Generate New API Key and complete the steps.
Important: API keys appear upon creation only. Store your key in a secure place, like JumpCloud’s Password Manager so that you can access it when you need it.
If you are an MSP with multiple organizations in JumpCloud, you must also provide the Organization ID with the API key for each account. To gather the Organization ID, do the following:
- From the JumpCloud Admin Portal, navigate to Settings > Organization Profile > General.
- Copy the Organization ID.
