Overview
You can integrate 1Password with a Blumira Cloud Connector to send 1Password event data, sign-in, and item usage directly to Blumira. This integration is currently an ingestion-only connector that fulfills compliance requirements for many organizations.
Before you begin
Required: To complete the procedure below, you must have a 1Password Business account and either owner or administrator permissions.
Before you can configure Blumira's 1Password Cloud Connector to collect logs for an account, you must gather the following details for the 1Password account:
- A bearer token
- Host URL
Gathering credentials from 1Password
To create a bearer token for the integration, do the following:
- Sign in to 1Password as an owner or administrator.
- Click Integrations and then click Blumira.
- In the Token Name box, type a name for the bearer token.
- In the Expires After box, select Never.
- Under Events to Report, select all event types.
- Click Issue Token.
- Click Save in 1Password then select a vault to save your token in.
Configuring the Cloud Connector in Blumira
Cloud Connectors automate the configuration of your integrations without requiring you to use a sensor. After you obtain your integration's configuration parameters, you can then enable Blumira to collect your logs.
To configure the Blumira Cloud Connector:
- In the Blumira app, navigate to Settings > Cloud Connectors.
- Click + Add Cloud Connector.
- In the Available Cloud Connectors window, click the connector you want to add.
- In the Cloud Connector Name box, type a name to help identify the specific integration.
- Enter the credentials that you collected in the previous steps.
- Click Connect.
